Personal growth isn't something that just comes as you relax away and embrace your laziness. For you to grow, it requires more work than you think. You need to be able to make drastic changes to your life and to challenge your boundaries,  beliefs and fears. Self-Reflection

Before trying to make any big changes in your life, you need to look into yourself first. Consider reflecting on who you are so that you understand yourself and your needs first. People tend to find comfort in the familiar.  Which, by the way, is very normal because how can you be comfortable in situations you don't know anything about? That would be the abnormality. However, you need to know that the things that are comfortable for you now were once very unfamiliar at some point. You probably even dreaded them but look at you now. So all you need to do is take a step forward into engaging in things that are uncomfortable for you and who knows? You might just like it. For you to grow, you need to get out of your shell and explore. Have A Support Group

Sometimes we need the right people around us if we want to foster sustainable change. This is why you need to have a group of people who will support you throughout your growth journey.  Keep in mind that personal growth doesn't end, it's an ongoing process of finding yourself and bettering yourself.  By having other people who can resonate with you and help guide you throughout the journey,  you are guaranteed a better outcome as well as better mental health. There is a clarity of mind that is conducive for personal growth which comes with exercising. Not only is physical activity a way of enhancing your personal growth in itself but it also creates an environment that will keep you happy, calm and mindful of yourself. So by exercising more regularly, you are not only going to enjoy better health,  but you'll experience personal growth through all the advantages of sportsmanship. 

Reduce Your Screen Time 

One unproductive thing that you can do for yourself is to stay fixated on your phone for hours on end, consuming your mind with social media. This can depress you and affect your outlook on life, making you an unmotivated individual.  In contrast,  imagine how fulfilling it would be to grab a book and learn new things instead of scrolling through unhelpful pages. The only way you can truly grow is by understanding that failure is an inevitable part of life. No matter how many wins you have, you will experience failure at some point.
