It's summertime! I know many of you have been waiting for this season and now that it’s here you’re just beside yourself with joy. With a bunch of social activities to do, the warmest season of the year promises you more fun than any one person can handle. Unfortunately, it also promises you a bunch of problems that if you’re not careful with handling, will ruin the season for you. Yes, I’m talking about things like that unbearable sunburn, super high energy bill, those indestructible mosquitoes, and everything else in between. It’s honestly a pain. That is why we have brought you these amazing summer hacks that are guaranteed to make your summer a little bit better this year. So read on and learn how to get all the summer pleasure with none of the annoyances.

Keep your Bottles Ice Cold With Wet Paper Towels

The one thing that summer is known for is being a blazing inferno, and the last thing anyone wants to do is to sip warm beverages in hot weather. The mere thought of it is enough to make us hurl. But since we understand that you might not always have enough ice to last the day, here’s a hack for you. Wrap a wet paper towel around a lukewarm bottle of wine, beer, or water, and place the bottle in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. After that, remove the bottle, and then just pop the cork, cap, or lid and start pouring to keep your friends and family refreshed. I have a feeling that some of you will find this more useful than you ever thought.

Did You Know You Could Treat Bug Bites With Toothpaste?

Just as everyone comes out to play during the summer, well, the bugs do the same. Some of you who have been victims of this menace over the years know all too well what I’m talking about. Well, it’s time to scratch and itch no more, with this hack remedy for bug bites. When you’ve been bitten, dab a dot of toothpaste onto a bug bite to reduce the itchiness and swelling, and just like that you’ll be good to go in no time. Once you use this remedy, you and your family will be back out starting new adventures in no time with no fear of any nasty bites.

Out With The Brushes, In With The Onions

One thing that we are certain you’re doing this summer is grilling, barbecuing, and everything in between. There is nothing that beats sitting around with your mates, drinks in hand, and meat on the grill. The more you do this however, the more you need to ensure that your grill is clean and usable for the next round of drinks and grilling. That’s why knowing that you can clean a grill with an onion bulb as a better alternative to a metal brush is crucial information. Simply rub onion halves over a hot grate to loosen and lift food residue, and save yourself the effort of scraping the grate with a grill brush

You Can Remove Sand With Baby Powder

A popular activity during summer is to go to the beach and have some fun there. Unfortunately, as I’m sure many of you know, when the little wet sand grains go in between your toes or fingers, they can be quite difficult to remove and uncomfortable too. Here’s our hack for if you get stuck in that very grainy position. Firstly, let the sand dry a bit, then sprinkle a generous amount of baby powder on your skin, focusing on those crevices where sand tends to collect. Rub it in to wipe off the excess sand, and then you’re good to go just like that. You can then go back to the beach for more adventures knowing that baby powder will get rid of all your problems.

A Well Placed Cupcake Liner Will Make The Mess Go Away

When the hot summer temperatures are going up, there are very few things that will cool you down in style like a nice refreshing popsicle. Just thinking about them makes me want one too. The problem with this little frozen treat is that as it melts it can create a bit of a sticky situation and leave your fingers looking like they were in a honey pot. Fortunately for you, we have a solution that can ease these worries for you, and that is the famous, cupcake liner. If you position it at the base of an ice pop, the liner catches the falling juice that would otherwise have stained your hands and clothes. This little hack allows you to have your favorite treat with none of the mess. Isn’t that just awesome?

Use Aloe Vera Ice Cubes For Burns

After spending a day in the hot sun, you might want to cool yourself down so that your body temperature lowers and those sunburns cool. Typically, you’d use your drinks to do this job but let me hook you up with something far far better. That something is in the form of Aloe Vera ice cubes. What you do is to get some aloe vera juice from any of your local shops and you pour it into ice molds to cool. That creates some frozen aloe vera cubes. Once you have these, you can then use them to rub onto your sunburns. Not only is aloe vera already good for your skin on its own but when it's in the form of these cool cubes, it will serve double the purpose for you.
